The ZDG series boiler feed pump is a Multistage Ring Section Centrifugal Water Pump, which is a radially split, segmented casing, multistage pump designed with modular interstage components. These identical components can be assembled to produce pumps of varying numbers of stages, hydraulics, materials, and configurations to meet the customer's specific requirements. Its multiple suction nozzle and discharge nozzle orientations allow the pump to adapt to multiple piping installations and provide the piping designer with flexibility in plant layout. Multiple hydraulics for each pump size optimize efficiency across a vast range of applications. All intermediate stage components are identical which reduces spare parts inventory. The pump are particularly well suited for hot water transferring and boiler feed applications. Power plant hot water cirulation, Civil heating supply services, Hot water booster service in high building are applications where the pump may be applied.
Generally, this type of multistage ring section centrifugal water pump is designed for hot water circulation, especial for boiler feeding. A boiler feed pump can handle the pressure of up to 100 bar. In most cases, there is a required pressure for the purpose of your boiler’s operation. It is essential that your chosen boiler feed pump can handle that requirement.
A horizontal multistage ring section pump, can handle pressures of up to 100 bar or 1,500 psig. Aside from boiler feed applications, it can handle operations for agricultural irrigation, desalination and reverse osmosis, pressure boosting systems, natural gas processing systems, and paper mill shower water.
ZDG series self-balancing multistage ring section centrifugal boiler feed pump is designed to remove the mechanical balance drum, balance disc, balance socket and similar part, but achieve the balancing function by reverse circulation water pipe. Such external bypass piping is designed for water flowing into the end of the pump from the suction side, and then reversely flow back to the discharge section in the middle, which makes the water flowing from both sides of the discharge section. It will balance the axial thrust caused by the high pressure impeller from both sides and escape the mechanical wears out as well as overloaded axial force of the traditional multistage pump, and ensure the stability and endurability of the pumpset.
